This project is the result of 40 years hearing and reading about Rock N' Roll music, indeed I do not have the knowledge of the thousands of bands that have been around but for sure I have heard a hand full of dozens of them.
Having a good appreciation for this genre I found an intense desire to share what I have read and heard with all of you who have landed at this page: by accident, because a referral or just because I told you about my project. As an Engineer with an international Responsibility I have a lot of flying time where I can listen to good Rock classics, contemporary groups and bands that with no doubt will become Icons, I have had the opportunity of being in almost 50 different countries and in all of them I have found amazing people doing their day to day job that have the same feeling I have for this genre, thanks to all of you who have push me to airborne this Blog, I will try to keep all my comments less than 400 words so the reading gets no close to be boring. What will this project deal about? The intention of this Blog is to share with you the evolution of Rock N’ Roll under my perspective, and if it is possible you (It is my wish) can add your comment or experience so people like you in other countries can read how the music they have heard has been heard in other countries, so this can become a nice rock network. Of course I will upload part of my more than 4000 cd’s , I am not fond of uploading discography’s because I do believe under this format there is no added value in it but definitely, the song or the Cd I will be chatting about will be shared with you, a link to YouTube will be included as well for the song, If any comment involved any other genre like Rhythm & Blues, Rap, Hip Hop or Country probably is because I liked the band or singer, but for sure 98% of my written riffs will be about rock. Este proyecto es el resultado de haber escuchado y leído sobre Rock N’ Roll por cuarenta años, no poseo el conocimientos del las miles de bandas que interpretan este género, pero les aseguro que he escuchado unas cuantas docenas de ellas.
Teniendo una buena apreciación por este género musical, me embarga el deseo de compartir lo que he leído y escuchado con todos ustedes que han aterrizado en esta página: en forma accidental, porque los refirieron o simplemente porque les comete sobre mi proyecto. Siendo Ingeniero y con una Responsabilidad Internacional, es mucho el tiempo que dispongo durante los vuelos para escuchar buenos clásicos del Rock, algunos contemporáneos y otros que sin duda se volverán iconos. He tenido la oportunidad de estar en un poco más de cincuenta (50) países y me he tropezado con personas sumamente agradables que tienen sus vidas y quehaceres cotidianos que tienen mi misma afinidad por este género musical. Un millón de gracias a todos ustedes que me animaron para que este blog despegara, me comprometo a que mis comentarios no sean mayores de 400 palabras de manera que lectura no se haga monótona. De que tratara este proyecto? La intención de este Blog es compartir la evolución del Rock N’ Roll desde mi perspectiva, y de ser posible (es mi mas sincero deseo) ustedes puedan añadir sus comentarios y/o experiencias de manera que en otros países puedan leer como la música es o fue escuchada en otras latitudes, de manera pués, que esto se convierta en una especie de red social de Rock. Claro está que subiré a este portal parte de mis más de 4000 discos compactos, no soy muy a fin de subir discografías enteras, porque estoy convencido que bajo este formato de Blog que estoy comenzando no tiene valor agregado hacerlo, definitivamente la canción y el CD el cual este comentando será compartido con ustedes y claro está el enlace en youtube también será compartido. Si algún comentario involucra otro género como Rhythm & Blues, Rap, Hip Hop o Country será porque me gusta el grupo o cantante, pero les puedo asegurar que el 98% de mis comentarios serán sobre Rock.
